Rapper and business mogul, Sean Combs aka Diddy, tops Forbes 100 highest paid celebrity in 2017 by clocking a career-best of $130 million. Singer, Beyoncé came in second with $105 million while best-selling fiction author, J.K. Rowling came in third with $95 million. Beyoncé’s husband, rapper and business mogul Jay Z came in at #55. Queen of social media and business entrepreneur, Kim Kardashian came in at #47, while her younger sister Kylie Jenner came in at #59.

Though Diddy’s payday mostly came from the sale of a large chunk of Sean John clothing equity and his ongoing partnership with Diageo’s Ciroc vodka, many of the names the list are profiting from the emergence of the new entertainment economy.

From Spotify to Netflix, streaming platforms are directly enriching stars in a manner that once seemed a distant dream and indirectly fueling lucrative live shows.

Cristiano Ronaldo filed For Over Four billion naira Tax Evasion

 prosecutors in Madrid confirmed on Tuesday that they have filed a lawsuit against Cristiano Ronaldo for allegedly defrauding Spanish authorities of €14.7m (£12.95m, over four billion naira) between 2011 and 2014, Independent reports.

In a statement, the prosecutor’s office alleged that the Real Madrid star and four-time Ballon d’Or winner had knowingly used a “business structure” created in 2010 to hide his income in Spain from his image rights, and described his failure to pay the correct tax as “conscious and willing.”

The lawsuit is based on a report sent to the prosecutor’s office from Spain’s tax agency AEAT, it said

Ronaldo took advantage of what is known in Spain as ‘the Beckham law’ – which allows foreign sportspersons to pay 24.75% income tax, rather than the 48% applied to Spanish nationals. Athletes must still, however, pay taxes on other income earned in Spain.

In Cristiano’s case, the former Manchester United winger is accused of having diverted some €150m of advertising revenue through the British Virgin Islands.

Ronaldo becomes the latest high-profile footballer to become involved in a Spanish tax case.

A 34-year old man from Singapore has broken a long-standing world record by successfully having intercourse with 57 different women within a 24 hour period. The record was set in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, as part of an annual event run by a local brothel.

The man, who was not named by local Czech media, told reporters that he had been training hard for a period of months and was delighted to have broken the previous record, which stood at 55.

“I’ve always been a bit of a sex addict, and when I learned that the brothel was having a world record attempt I knew I had to come and give it a go,” he said. “I take it really seriously and train for it just like an athlete would prepare for a marathon. In some ways, it’s actually much harder than a lot of professional sports.”

The world record attempt began at midnight local time, with officials looking on as the man commenced intercourse with his first partner. “For the world record to count, every woman I slept with had to be different, so the venue had to hire a number of girls from other brothels.”

By midday the man was ahead of world-record pace, having slept with 29 women. “I started to get a bit of a cramp around then but luckily we had a physiotherapist on hand to give me a massage which helped out,” he told journalists.

The Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Olanrewaju Onadeko, (SAN) has revealed the summary of the final examination results conducted from April 22 to 28, 2017.
The Nigerian Law School has released the summary of the final examination results conducted from April 22 to 28, showing that 596 students failed to qualify for the Nigerian Bar.
The Director-General, Nigerian Law School, Mr Olanrewaju Onadeko, (SAN) said that 2, 125 students participated at the examinations while 1,393 were successful.
Apart from the 596 that failed, there were also 196 candidates with conditional Pass.
A further breakdown of the results showed that candidates with Pass accounted for 65.6 per cent, those with conditional Pass represented 6. 4 per cent, while those who failed were 28 per cent.
Onadeko said that the ‘Call to the Bar’ ceremony for the successful candidates will hold on July 13 in Abuja.

Autopsy Says Isiaka Adeleke Died From Painkiller Overdose – LAUTECH

The cause of senator Isiaka Adeleke’s death
has been made public. According to
pathologists who carried out an autopsy on him
before he was buried, the senator reportedly
died of overdose of painkillers.
The lifeless body of Adeleke was returned to
LAUTECH Hospital, Osogbo, for an autopsy after
his sudden death at the hospital on Sunday.
Reports that followed his death was that he had
died of cardiac arrest, but the indigenes of his
home town, Ede, insisted that they wanted to
know the cause of his death on the assumption
that his death was not natural.
According to Sahara Reporters, the politician did
not die of poisoning but as a result of an
overdose of painkillers intravenously
administered on him.

Five “Yahoo Boys” Lautech students handed over to the EFCC for Internet fraud

5 students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) were handed over to the Ibadan Zonal EFCC Office on Monday, 20th March, 2017 by Oyo State Joint Security Task Force, “Operation Burst” for further Investigation.

The suspects, which includes Oyewole Oyeleye Olatunji (28), Adeniran Adeyinka Yusuf (29), Samuel Olumide Adeola (29), Israel Adeola (24) and Olorunyemi Savior Imonah (24) were arrested March 13, 2017, during a routine surveillance at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomosho.
They confessed to have defrauded some American women through various romance scam using different dating sites. They also confessed to have obtained different sums from their victims.
Investigations have also revealed that the suspects have various incriminating documents in their Laptops and Phones.
They were posing on the dating sites as American Soldiers and using different identities to defraud unsuspecting American ladies. The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.

A 43-year-old woman, Ngozi Ojei and her maid, Ewere Samuel have been arrested by policemen in Delta State for selling a two-week-old baby girl to a widow for N600,000.

Samuel is the mother of the baby. She gave birth while she was Ojei’s housemaid in Abae.

According to New Telegraph, Samuel said she could not identify the person who impregnated her after finding out she was pregnant. She then agreed with Ojei to sell the baby to avoid keeping a bastard child. They sold the baby late January to a woman simply identified as a widow.

Explaing more details about the incident, the the Commissioner of Police, Zanna Ibrahim, said in November 2016, Ojei asked Loveth Ojie to help her get a housemaid before she brought Samuel. 
 

“In January 2017, the said Ngozi Ojie came to Ekwuoma (in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State) to see the mother of Ewere Samuel after which she took her to Aba,“ Ibrahim said.

The said Ewere Samuel delivered a baby girl and the suspect sold the child.
“The suspect confessed selling the baby for N600,000,” the commissioner explained. But Ojei said she and the mother of the baby girl got N250,000 each from the proceeds.

While Ibrahim said investigation was ongoing, Ojei’s husband, Mr. Edwin Ojei, said: “I only came home for burial when I was arrested.”

A 27-year-old controversial church founder in Zimbabwe, Given Dube, has caused outrage after he claimed that he is God and that Jesus is not coming back.

Dube, who claimed to be God, wants Africans not to believe that Jesus is coming again.

According to a newspaper, Zimbabwe News, Dube who is the founder of Umuzi ka Nkulunkulu (House of god) Church in Pumula South, had told his members to address him as God as the Holy Spirit had descended on him and declared him God. 
 

The pastor is said to have been telling his members that he is the God who made the heaven and earth and has power over all creation.

He added that the belief that Jesus is coming back was just a fallacy used by religious scholars to hold people in perpetual fear.

In an interview with the newspaper, Dube who has a Holy Book which his members use for their daily guide emphasized his claims by saying he was God’s host on earth.

He said, “I am being used by a spirit which I cannot even see. I only saw it in a vision once when it first appeared to me in 2008 when I was in Chipinge for National Youth Service training.

“Since then, God’s spirit speaks to me and I hear his voice and that spirit uses me. For people to believe me, I write everything down and that is the holy book referred to as Uluju Lwezulu.

“I am God and do not need anyone to explain my words. I have written this book and it guides people in their daily lives.

“When Jesus came to earth, not all people listened to him and he was even killed. Now I have come, some have listened and I will guide them.

“They believe the lies they are being told that Jesus is coming back again. I can tell you that he is not coming back again as the religious leaders use that to instill fear in people.

“I am God and I plan. I just command and it happens. You also have to understand that I don’t expect everyone to see me as their God, but they first have to accept the word and understand, so only church members recognize me as their God.

“I command, I can stop diseases and wars in the world or even command them to happen. This is a different belief from Christians who are still waiting for the coming of Jesus; I am already here.”

A group of researchers have done a study to see if the s ex sounds a woman makes (they refer to it as copulatory vocalizations) are voluntary, reflex or happens as a result of their org asms.

They performed this study by recruiting 71 sexually active, heterosexual women from the local community with a mean age of 22 years old, and administered a questionnaire asking the subjects about their vocalizations during  s ex.

Consistent with prior research, as revealed by Psych Central, women most often reported reaching org asm during ma sturbation or self-manipulation, and secondly by manipulation by their partner. Oral se x was the third most likely way to achieve orgasm, followed by the way women least frequently achieve orgasm: penetration by a man. Women in the study reported they most often experienced an orgasm during foreplay.

What about vocalizations? Did they most often appear around a woman's own or gasm?

Surprising to some, the answer was no. The researchers found that a woman's vocalizations occurred around the man's org asm, most often just before or simultaneously with male ejaculation.

The researchers theorize why this may be, saying, "The data clearly demonstrates a dissociation of the timing of women experiencing orgasm and making copulatory vocalizations, and indicate that there is at least an element of these responses that are under conscious control, providing women with an opportunity to manipulate male behavior to their advantage."

According to this study, whether they know it or not, women appear to vocalize during s ex — not to express their own enjoyment, but to help the man reach climax.

This goes to show that the idea that people have a preconceived sexual script in their head is not far-fetched. We, very likely, have an idealized se xual encounter and what we believe our partners want.

Evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Gifty talks about her marital status, rumours of her being an hairdresser in Anambra and she claiming to be a v!rgin.

In a interview with LIS, she revealed that contrary to rumours, she has never been married.

She also confessed that she lied to her housemates when she said she was a v!rgin as it was just part of her game plan.

Gifty also disclosed that none of the housemates is aware of Thin Tall Tony’s marital status, saying that Bisola will be so sad when she finds out.

What is your reaction to ruomurs that you used to be a hair dresser in Anambra state?

I am not a hair dresser, I have never made anybody’s hair for money. I just love learning, I watch people do something and I pick it up. The uniform photo was from a movie scene.

What parts of you in the house was a fake?

Some parts of me like the romance, kissing and accents were fake. It was part of my game plan before I entered the house.

There was a time you told your fellow house mates you are a v!rgin, how true is this?

Saying I was a v!rgin was also part of the game plan. I am not a v!rgin. I have had ex boyfriends so definitely, I am not a v!rgin. 

What about your education?, you claimed to have good grades

I studied Theatre Art in Ghana, had good grades and yes, I graduated with a first class

There were also rumours that you were married for few months and also an actor came out to claim he is your boyfriend

I have never been married before. Would love to get married in the future though but I have never been married. As for the boyfriend, he is an actor and that photo was from a movie, He played as my husband and I played as a foreigner. There is no relationship between us. I even called him and shouted at him. I asked him why he would post such a thing.

Are you in any relationship?

I was in a relationship before I went into the Big Brother house but broke up with him a few days before I traveled for the show. I didn’t want to break his heart because I knew my game plan was going to be very nasty

What is actually going on between Bisola and Thin Tall Tony?

Bisola and Thin Tall Tony have a thing. I’m just imagining how Bisola will react when she finds out that he is married.

Does any of the housemates know Thin Tall Tony is married?

At a point, I suspected he was married because of the way he answered me when asked him if he was married. One day, two of us were in the kitchen and I asked him ‘are you married?’ he hesitated before saying no he is not. I also asked him if he has a girlfriend and he said no. Thin Tall Tony is serious game player but Bisola is truly falling for him and it’s written all over her. She would be very sad when she finds out he is married
